2026-2027 Approved School Calendar
At this week’s Board of Education meeting, the Board officially approved the 2026–2027 School Calendar. The approved calendar is now available on our district website.

2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year will open on January 5th, 2026.Visit our Registration page to register. Children born from December 2, 2020 through December 1, 2021 are eligible.
2026-2027 UPK Lottery Registration
The Mount Sinai School District, through participation in the New York State Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program Grant, is providing a ten-month, five days per week, pre-school in September 2026 pending budget approval in May.
Registration for the UPK lottery for the 2026-2027 school year will take place February 23rd, 2026- March 27th, 2026.Children born from December 2, 2021 through December 1, 2022 are eligible.
During this timeframe, you can visit to submit your child’s name for the lottery or submit using this form.The lottery drawing will take place on April 1st.
You will be notified by email regarding the lottery results.
